Flashing before me, I get so scared and run,

Love, an illusion that tortures and taunts,

While blindly we follow the ghost of what could have been,

This ghost knows what it wants; it is me that it haunts,

Its eyes are filled with lust once again,

The monster that hides in my closet, talks to me every night,

Beckoning me, “come closer dear,”

Urging me not to fight,

Reminding me I have nothing to fear,

A banshee screams my name outside my door,

Razor sharp claws, not meant to play,

Tonight, it’s louder than ever before,

No reason not to do what ever this creature might say,

Zombies can be a lot of fun,

All they really want is a love of their own,

They only get upset if yo run,

No one likes to be forever alone

I can hear the aliens coming for me,

They want to take me to their leader, put me to the test,

Someone with no fear they can see,

Treated just like a guest,

The grim reaper lurks around the corner,

Seeking another victim,

Ending misery, yet creating another mourner,

An alley-way with lights so dim,

A dragon that destroys and devours,

Protective guard, knows his job,

No one will ever get to the tower,

He will not be robbed,

Vampires look for their next meal,

An innocent soul they can steal,

Never listening to human appeals,

My fate is sealed
